ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy blogging. I have been at it for a while and wanting to start videos so I am opposite of you. What a great giveaway. I love adding large droplets to my inked background, letting it soak in and then ending up with lighter colored texture.

I want to win that! I am curious about the distress oxide inks but unfortunately they are not in my budget quite yet. I love the way the distress inks blend and make some fabulous effects with just a little bit of water. Thank you for sharing in your giveaway. I do want to win that! I would use the inks for distressing my cards and loaded envelopes. Also use them for coloring stamp images to make the picture more vibrant.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite technique is ink blending of backgrounds and then using water droplets (usually mixed with perfect pearls) to give the background some interest. But I also love using them for watercoloring and smooshing! Oh, and the watercolor lifting technique is so cool, too! They're so versatile I could just go on and on and on... I love all of their possibilities and properties.

ReplyDeleteI forgot to say my favorite Distress ink technique, which is blending a soft shadow of ink on the edges of my project with the small round blending tool and foam attachment! I want to be in the running so I need to follow your instructions to the letter! :)

ReplyDeleteHi Diane. I've never used these inks so i don't have a favorite. But as for techniques i usually just dab with a sponge very lightly to get the look i want when i'm using inks and even paints. I'd love to win...and i'm sharing this all over.. :-) I'm on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+ and Linkedin as well as Blogger and Wordpress.
